Yeah, we're a little addicted. I absolutely love baby everything, so now that I'm shopping for my own little one, it's even more exciting than I ever would have imagined. It was actually Donnie's idea that we go out there today since we had a few dollars and my grandma gave us a few more.

Daddy picked this out $3.00

It's a 3-6m turtle neck onesie!

0-3m onesie from the new store $0.49

Daddy picked this too!

Newborn hat $0.50

0-6m hat (it's a light green, but doesn't show up) $0.50

0-6m hat $0.50

IM. SO. TIRED.. haha. I'm getting my energy back kinda, but it seems like I'm getting sleepy way faster and more often as well. Today we went shopping at a baby resale shop (Not gonna post it since this is a public blog, but if I know you and you're reading my blog, ask me on Facebook and I'll tell ya!) we found around here since my check came in early.

The resale shop is like a Goodwill/thrift store, but it's all baby items like clothes, shoes, toys, baths, etc. All the maternity clothes are $2.00 a piece as well. We've found 3 of them (one of which we need to go into since) and this one is definitely my favorite. It's super clean, organized, the clothes and everything they take in are like new, it's super cheap, and the people in this one treat us nice every time we go in.

A couple weeks ago Donnie got these (Michael) Jordan hats..

$1.00 a piece

Today we got 3 outfits and a maternity shirt!

Maternity Shirt $2.00

The pattern up close.

Reds outfit 6-9 months $1.50

The back of it on the butt.

Cute onesie 6-9 months $1.50

The pattern up close.

Cute footie pjs 3-6 months $1.75

The green stripes on the belly/faces are on the arms.

2nd Trimester

What's been going on since I had to take my computer in (and not get it fixed)? Many things, I guess. So far I've had a pretty nice pregnancy and I couldn't be happier. I'm finally in my second trimester, about to hit 15 weeks this Sunday. My belly is definitely growing and getting harder on the bottom. I can tell the baby (or well, what the baby is in) has all moved up quite a bit. Here's my 13 & 14 week belly pictures, they're the ones that show what's going on without all the bloat.

13 weeks

14 weeks

The frequent urination has definitely kicked in more than ever which of course with the baby growing is normal. It sucks. I hate it.. and it's only going to get worse. Most of the time I can't sleep because every time I get comfortable or have been sleeping awhile I have to go. It doesn't matter if I drink anything before bed or not. Sometimes I'll have a full bladder, go, and have another full bladder in 5 minutes, lol.

My boobs are still growing insanely, which is awesome. My nipples are getting sore again.. or just more sensitive. I'd rather have my boobs hurt again, haha.

Sneezing is getting painful. It's been happening for awhile, but it's getting worse.. when I sneeze I have to bring my knees towards my belly or I get shooting pains in my uterus. Shortness of breath comes and goes once in awhile, which is also normal.

What else? No heartburn unless I over eat a ton, which is normal for a non-pregnant person, so I'm pretty sure our baby will be bald, lol. I can deal with that for now. Speaking of eating too much, I'm definitely getting my appeitite back these back 2-3 weeks. I'm not chowing down, but I'm hungry frequently for small meals here and there. I'm not a morning-eating person and luckily the baby tolerates that.. most of the time. IF I let myself get hungry, I get painful hunger pains until I eat at least a little something.

I think that's about it for now :) Next appointment is May 5th!

Help is always appreciated

It's been a week since I've posted anything. At this point, there isn't much going on - just growing a baby over here! I'm starting to feel my belly pull more, kind of behind my belly button, when I lay in bed and stretch out. If I sneeze while I'm laying down, I definitely have to bring my legs up to my belly or it's like pulling a muscle, haha. Some people might not like these "aches and pains" (I wouldn't consider them just that yet) but I think it's amazing because I know my baby is growing.

The one thing I still really have is fatigue, well besides the peeing 500 times, but that'll just get worse. The past few days I just can't seem to wake up the entire day. I still have a room to clean too..

I'm pretty sure my belly is growing a little more. I'll be 12 weeks on Sunday (will post an updated belly progression picture) so I'm about to that point to start growing at least a little. Between the 2 weeks from our first and second ultrasound, baby had grown quiet fast, so I think I'll show (without eating and bloating) pretty soon.

I have a nice, new family friend of my Uncle's who are helping me out a lot. They have a little 16 month old girl and that have tons of baby stuff, new and used, that they are just giving me. Today they brought over a stroller. I'm sure I'll buy a new one, that also has a car seat, but this one I can use to keep at other places that I go to often (which isn't much, haha). I'm so thankful to have someone helping me because it is stressful wondering where I'm going to get everything. They have some gender neutral things they're bringing soon, but they said if I have a girl that have all kinds of things that their baby didn't even get to wear.

Til next time ;)

Target & Toys R Us Baby Haul!

Posted by Stephine on Friday, April 1, 2011. Filed under:

I don't know that I'll be posting another 'large' haul like this again, haha. We had some money left over from back pay from my disability and we used it specifically for baby ..and well, getting our kitties fixed! Today I ventured out with Donnie to go 'baby shopping', my two favorite words in the world together, except now, it's for our baby and it's even better. Baby shopping when you don't know if it's a boy or girl is freakin' stressful, lemme tell ya! We may go out and get a pack n' play, we're still debating on whether to get it or not.. that'll be that last item if so.

First, since we got one thing from Toys R Us, I'll post that. We ended up grabbing two things of socks. They had 6 pairs in each, we got a 0-3 months and 3-6 months. I know we'll probably get lots as gifts, but they were only $2.80 a piece which I thought was a steal.

The rest of this is from Target, which is probably my new favorite place. It's smaller than Walmart and has less people, so it's a little easier for me to walk through and get myself (the anxiety) used to a bigger store. Walmart and I? We don't get along. Onward..
